Trip Itinerary – 5 Days

Jun 19, 2020: New York City
Welcome to New York City! Meet your ACIS Tour Manager at
the airport and transfer to Manhattan. Time permitting, you will
make a photo stop at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, a beautiful Gothic
cathedral built in the late 1800s and more recently a focal point for
remembrance following the events of September 11th. After dinner
in Times Square enjoy a Broadway show. (D)

Jun 20, 2020: New York City
After breakfast, spend your morning at the Museum of Jewish
Heritage, where you can gain insight into Jewish life worldwide
in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. With separate floors
devoted to different time frames, you’ll leave the museum with
a greater understanding and appreciation of how this strong
community initially flourished, how life changed leading up to
and during the Holocaust and then how the Jewish community
has bonded together to rebuild and thrive in the current world.
After lunch on your own it’s time to delve into the passion of
theater. Take part in a specialized theatrical workshop taught by a
Broadway cast member who will pass along tricks of the trade and
insider details of life on stage. Acting will work up your appetite,
which you can satisfy tonight at dinner in Times Square. Then,
become part of the audience attending a Broadway Show. This
evening, you will also have the opportunity to get your group
photo taken. (B,D)

Jun 21, 2020: New York City
After breakfast you have the chance to visit some of the most
iconic sights of New York: the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
Here you’ll learn more about the journeys, hopes and dreams of
the 12 million immigrants who came through Ellis Island; and,
explore the history of the Statue of Liberty and her travels from
France to our shores. After lunch, visit the One World Trade Center
Observatory, the tallest building in the Western hemisphere, and
enjoy panoramic views of New York City and across to New Jersey.
The day’s next stop is at the National September 11 Memorial. Take
a moment to read the names of those who died during the tragic
events of that day, gaze upon the Survivor Tree which still grows
strong. Go back to your hotel and freshen up before enjoying
dinner and a Broadway show. (B,D)

Jun 22, 2020: New York City
This morning after breakfast, peek in on life behind the scenes as
you tour NBC Studios. See world-famous studios, including those
of the Today Show, NBC Sports and Saturday Night Live. After
your NBC Studios tour, visit the Lincoln Center Library. Have lunch
on your own and enjoy a free afternoon for some exploring and
shopping. After dinner, attend another Broadway show. (B,D)

Jun 23, 2020: Departure
On your final day in the city, you will take the morning to have free
time to explore before having lunch on your own and boarding
your flight home. (B)
